Several Downtown Salisbury businesses are featuring specials during 3rd Friday: Winter Style on Friday, Jan. 19.
While 3rd Friday does not feature outdoor activities during the winter months, people are encouraged to visit “The Beacon of Hope,” a traveling monument of Harriet Tubman created by Wesley Wofford that is located outside near the Government Office Building, before it moves on to its next location Jan. 31. 3rd Friday hours are 5-8 p.m.
The Salisbury Art Space will host a 3rd Friday reception for its Member Showcase, featuring all types of media, from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 19. Stop by nearby Board & Brush and purchase a do-it-yourself Be My Valentine Bucket for $25, while supplies last.
Two Downtown tattoo shops will be offering specials during 3rd Friday. Mad Tatter will have a $50 flash and gumball special, and Atlantis Tattoo & Art Gallery will have a $50 tattoo flash sale, with larger designs offered at $150 (some flash designs are shown in the photo below). Atlantis will also offer piercings for $13 each.
Looking for live music? Brew River Restaurant & Bar will host Best Kept Soul from 7-11 p.m. and DJ First Class beginning at 9 p.m. Market Street Inn will host DJ Vibe from 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
