Salisbury, MD: 3rd Friday is pleased to announce its theme line-up for the 2022 outdoor season in Downtown Salisbury. The monthly art and entertainment street festival hosts local artisans along Main Street, and uses themes to keep things exciting during the outdoor season April through November. Some themes are fan favorites and occur every year while other themes come and go. No matter what theme, every 3rd Friday will be tons of fun this season.

“Monthly themes are a jumping off point for special activities and for local businesses and vendors to get creative, and keep things fresh” says 3rd Friday producer Jamie Heater. The City of Salisbury’s Movies on the River series that coincides with 3rd Friday each month also loosely follows the themes, with a fun line-up of new and throwback movies, all free to enjoy all season long at Riverwalk Amphitheater just after sundown.

In May and July, the footprint will extend farther down Main Street towards the Baptist and Poplar Hill intersections to accommodate special events. Road closures and parking closures can be expected to affect these areas around 2 p.m. on event days. Any traffic changes, or changes to road closures will be updated online.
